One big reason why changing bags are preferred is because they are often made from materials that can be cleaned easily. Imagine buying a nice bag with a soft attractive material. It looks nice and feels nice but after a few weeks or even days of use there are spills, bits of food, stray cream on parts of it that just won't shift.
